I do not only sing but also have taught myself to engineer the audio. I'm still learning and I'm a slow student. It does not pay off to cater to someone else's taste especially when you don't know exactly how to do that. So every time I give it very careful thought just to how I want to experience my songs. One could argue that the standing waves or resonances are annoying and easily resolved, but I finally decided to jump over my own shadow and leave it as it is. I came to enjoy it as is. You can put your equalizer to work and change the sound. That is fine by me, because I know that every room sounds different. Other than that it may occur to you that this song sounds different from the others. In fact I wanted to use a reverb effect instead of an echo, but after countless settings i returned to echo and fiddled with the settings there. With this different sound as a result. An unnatural sound, but very nice how it favors the overtones.
