Second lofi recording. Showing the progression. It does not have the recording quality of the last three songs. There is some noise but the accidental sounds (an accidental listener exclaiming his surprise, a lapwing flying overhead and an excavator dumping scrap metal outside) in the industrial hall give it a special quality.
As an overtone singer I like to go to places and buildings with really good acoustics. A hollow acoustic like from big caves, castles and medieval churches naturally emphasizes the higher overtone melodics and suppress the low base drone of my voice.
A cathedral as a recording studio would be ideal, but in this age and time the next best thing for me is to use a "cathedral" effect. The result is very much the same as the real thing.
When you close your eyes, you might find out why I named this song "Braintickler".
My intention was to only record my own voice, but since I made this lofi recording in an industrial hall, you can also hear an excavator working outside and twice a lapwing flying overhead.
